18ct yellow gold trombone link Albert chain

This antique Albert chain is crafted in 18ct yellow gold with each link stamped 18ct with a crown to denote gold. The trombone link refers to the long rectangular link with three round links which was very popular at the turn of the 20th century. The chain has a running T bar suspended on three jump rings, with a swivel clasp and bolt ring as fasteners. The overall length including the drop T bar is 15in, however the chain is only 13½ long meaning it is very short if worn as a necklace, however the perfect length to be worn with a waistcoat or an adjustment for a bracelet.
